True Blood - the real vampires

Vampires have certainly been a focus of my scrapbooking this last week. Here is my tag for the tag swap at MAS "True Blood". Hope my fellow True Blood fans like their tags.

Another Swap

On the same site MAS I am doing a vintage summer postcard swap, perfect for me.
OK, on the scrap ning site Mini Album Scraps I got into a thing with fellow scrappers over which was best: Twilight or True Blood. I am a True Blood fan. Well, one thing led to another and I got into 2 swaps, one for Twilight and one for True Blood. Both are tag swaps. A fellow scrapper, Bev, is doing both as well, she is a Twilight fan. We are supporting each other in this craziness. Here is my take on a scene and quote from Twilight.

Here is a really nice video Itza did of the crafts I made for her. Thanks Itza for putting that together. I had a lot of fun making these for you.

Curtain Call Mini

This last Saturday I taught a class at Artfully Inspired in Grande Prairie, AB. A full class of 12 ladies and I had a fun but exhausting time. Here are some pics of the mini we did. Hope you like it.

Scrappy Friends

During the last few months I have made several good friends on different scrappy sites. On Sunday I had the chance to meet one of them when Glynis and her kids came over while passing through town. We visited all day and found out we have more than scrapbooking in common. Thank you Glynis for coming over, the door is always open.

My beautiful mini

I received a mini from my a new friend I met at FTPT, Maritza, today. Pictures of the one I made for her are in a slide dated April 24th. Thank you Itza for this gorgeous keepsake that screams me. I have always been fascinated with the Renaissance Era and this paper line is to die for. It is ironic that you love the cameo in the flower best and I have been looking for a cameo ring. Enjoy the youtube video Itza made of my paper bag mini.

Here is a picture of the group of 4 artist trading cards I made for 9 of my scrappy friends I have met on "Following the Paper Trail". As I mentioned in a previous post the theme of my cards is "Wings". Everyone is receiving the same 4 cards that are made with various techniques but each will receive a personalized wallet to keep them in.

The "M" on the above wallet is for Maritza of Itzathoughts.

Mini page swap

Here is another page for a swap I am doing on the Scrap Beach. This was for the 4x4 Bo Bunny Gabrielle group 4. The criteria was as follows:
Any paper within the collection

Leave 1/2 inch on left hand side for binding

Include 1 tag per chipboard (note - only needed on 1 side of your submission)

Include 1 stick pin or 1 charm on the opposite side of the chipboard (note - watch for your 1/2" guttter)

Include 2 embellishments on each side (lace, bling, etc)

Medium Weight Chipboard

Use identical treatment - you can use multiple papers from within the line

I had a lot of fun with this one especially trying to come up with a 4x4 page but not the traditional square which was one of the challenges for this swap. Hope the girls in my group like it.
