This is the last of the challenges I am entering in. The challenge was to do layers as football players wear many layers. This one was the easiest for me as I love layering in my scrapping. I hope all of you enjoyed my renditions of Kathryns challenges, thanks again Kathryn for the great day on Sunday.
There are many layers of paper, flowers, butterflies and the tag in the corner. The upper corner has a little cameo to finish off that side of the page.

Scrappybowl Challenges the sequel
First I have to thank Kathryn of Kathrynscraps.com for these challenges that are making me think. I love a good scrappy challenge. This one, which was for the 4th quarter was to use a flag or pennant in your layout. I immediately thought of school and this picture of our niece was perfect for it.

Scrappybowl Challenges
Kathryn over on the scrapbeach hosted a scrappybowl ustream on sunday for us football fans, not. For each quarter of the game she posted a challenge, did I not mention tons of challenges. Anyhow, the first challenge was to use a grid on your layout. The following layout is using letters on a grid background.
Challenges, Many , Many of them Part 2
The second challenge put forth in 2012 is a layout a week, 12x12, to catch up on those growing pictures in the corner. I have done 15 as of today, will publish some at a later date. Now for challenge number 3, a layout a day in Feb, not part of the layout a week challenge. For this challenge there are 30 specific challenges, one for each layout. Holy Moly, we (Glynis and I) made them hard. The first section are Glynis's, the second section are mine. We are able to cut one from the list to make it 29. For this challenge we are working away almost daily, by nightfall, my brains and bones are exhausted.

13. Punches, use your punches for borders, picture mats, and journal spot
14. They say you shouldn’t judge someone til you walk a mile in their shoes, take a walk in Loohoo’s, bling it up baby. Bling and flowers are to be used on a page.
15. Upcycle something, use something that you did not get from a scrapbook store, something that you would normally throw out would be preferred.

Challenges, Many , Many of them
Wow, Have I been a bad blogger. I have been busy though. 2012 brought many scrapbook challanges to conquer. The first one was a while back a friend of mine (Hi Glynis) sent me some 9x12 envelopes. The challenge, to design a mini page with them. This is what I came up with, the finished page once folded is 4x7. The first 3 pictures are one page assembly.
There are 5 page assemblys all together to make up the mini. Here are a couple more of the pages.
